Haneen Al Moosawi

From the Pearl of Arabia, Oman, Haneen’s practice is influenced by her immediate surroundings- the constant movement of the sand dunes, repetitive waves of the Indian Ocean, and the country’s rugged terrain.

She explores her homeland's architecture using geometric shapes, curves, and lines which she attributes to her father, who is an urban planner.

Living with scoliosis and its challenges, she uses curves in her works, in an attempt to highlight a normal life with scoliosis- and in fact, she calls it a phenomenon and not a condition.

Haneen’s work has been showcased extensively.
