About Us
Founded in 2024 by Arjun Butani and Arjun Sawhney, Pristine Contemporary is a New Delhi–based gallery with a curatorial focus across South Asia, Central Asia, Europe, and beyond.
The gallery represents emerging and established artists working across a range of media whose practices engage with cultural, historical, and material inquiries, bringing together diverse artistic perspectives within a contemporary context.
Through a programme of solo and group exhibitions, Pristine Contemporary presents artists across geographies, generations, and disciplines. Alongside its exhibition programme, the gallery develops publications, commissions, and collaborative initiatives that support the long-term development of its artists and the presentation of their work.
Working with artists, collectors, institutions, museums, and cultural organisations, Pristine Contemporary supports the presentation of contemporary art through exhibitions, research, publications, and public programmes. Its programme reflects a sustained engagement with artistic practice and curatorial research across regional and international contexts.
