About Feroza Hakeem
Feroza Hakeem was born in Quetta, Pakistan, and graduated in 2019 from the National College of Arts, specializing in Miniature Painting, with minors in oil painting, photography, multimedia, and silversmithing. She further enriched her artistic education with a semester at the Siena Art Institute in Italy. Hakeem’s work has received international recognition, notably being exhibited in the ‘Belt and Road’ exhibition at Suzhou University Museum in China. In 2021, she participated in an Experimental Learning Program led by Bani Abidi and Priya Sen, collaborating with artists from Karachi, Delhi, Pune, Bangalore, Quetta, Baroda, London, and Berlin.
Her exhibition history spans prominent galleries such as O Art Space, Gallery 6, Satrang Gallery, Full Circle Gallery, Muse Gallery, and Artscape Gallery, along with prestigious institutions like the World Bank Islamabad, Swiss Embassy Islamabad, and the Embassy of France Islamabad. In 2023, Hakeem held her first solo exhibition at Numaish Gah as the recipient of the Art Saraye Artist Grant 2023. She has solidified her presence in contemporary art by participating in ‘Muscat Art’ Oman, collaborating with the Faiz Foundation in the Como Museum exhibit at the 3rd Lahore Biennale, and having her 2nd solo show with Numaish Gah in 2024.
