About Varad Bang
Varad Ajay Bang (b. 1999, India) is a contemporary artist from the Florence Academy of Art. Bang’s art centers on human figures and their storytelling capacity. Currently, he is focused on crafting realistic figures juxtaposed against diverse backgrounds, from whimsical narratives reminiscent of childhood to profound themes from Indian pop culture. Fragments of his life in Italy are highlighted in his recent works exhibited in the Spring of 2024. This new body of work resonates with a contemporary take on Renaissance-styled nude figures.
Varad lives and works out of Aurangabad, India, and is represented exclusively in India with Pristine Contemporary.
